Use PPC and search engine promotion programs, pay for links or banner ads.

Hi,

I had used ypshosting.com with there 3500 visitor package that directs only US/English visitors. Now if I rememebr corrrectly they have updated it to 10000 visitors. I think it costs $50. I was very happy with it and managed to get some sales threw it.

Listen.. be careful of purchasing traffic..

Most of them are proxied... popunder...popup.. bs traffic..

Also 404 domains to you..

This is NOT the traffic you want...

The traffic you want is to be generated BY YOU pertaining to YOUR content...

Buying traffic will get you NO WHERE.

There are no shortcuts worth having unless you want to pay for them. Sponsored links are a fine way to launch a newsite/product but are limited by your budget. Now you've built your site the hard work really begins!

The only shortcut you can really count on are tools to help you maximize visibilty through valid html.. keywords etc etc.

If just out and out BUY traffic.... do not expect sales from it.

But using tools out there can 100% help you cut down time and costs for making SE optimized pages.

You guys are right about that. Also if you want site traffic and advertising just do some searches for banner and link exchanges. They will help your PR and also might get you some leads. There are alot that are free with no strings attached. It just takes some time to find them. Another good forums to find more information and people wanting to exchange links is www.webhostingtalk.com (http://www.webhostingtalk.com). Best of luck.

The BEST way to get traffic to your site is giving the best customer service! Word of mouth spreads quickly out here in cyberspace....you would be surprized!

Have you thought about a blog with an RSS feed? The minute I added one to my local site, I was being spydered by the search engines every two days! The reason? Content....updated content.

If you want Search Engine traffic, then optimize your site for it. Don't be fooled by some who say that meta tags are out....there are a lot of search engines who use them! And there are those who use your description meta as their description starter.

Don't try to do everything! There are a lot of tips out there; choose the ones that fit you best and that you will stick with. Trying to do everything leads to not doing anything well.

As far as traffic goes, you can earn your own hits quickly, easily and get paid to do it.

If you want traffic and eyes that are paid to look at ads....and very well paid and responsive, then check out my link and click on the forum for the real scoop!

I would like to suggest you to position your site to the specefic targeted customer segments first, get atleast approx 50000 clicks and view on your site, thereafter you should select a media objectives to increase the traffic starting after the base of '50000' clicks not from "0" click. :)

Do not buy traffic on websitess al you will get is a large amount of people that will visit your website... But they wont be reading anything.... those are not targeted visitors... I agree on that the word of mouth is the best  .

Don't ever pay for traffic ... I found its not worth it. Good website design and a solid linking campaign will get you all the traffic you want. It works for me.

Do the linking campaign yourself ... its a little work but you can pick good link partners. There are many site who say they will get you good links and page rank but this is more bull than fact ... you will usually end up linking with site that will just stick you in some unrelated link farm ... this is bad practice. A much better way is to go to google ... type in one of your keywords and take note on the first 10 sites that come up. Find out who id linking to these sites ... use a good free program like LPC you can download it for free here ... Link Popularity Check (http://www.checkyourlinkpopularity.com/) this software will give you everyone who is linking to any site you want ... go to these sites and ask to link with them ... most of them will have an add URL page ... like I said it takes time but you will get good relevant links. But watch out for the link farms ... if they are just going to place your link on a page with hundreds of other site with no relevance to you ... you may just want to move on ... if you would like you can start out by linking with me. go to my site and post a request.

:D I just want to add a little, when you get visits, it increases your probability of getting sales? Even if you don't you get public awareness of your company's existence.

The problem is, quality of audience, how relevant? :D

Don't pay for traffic, it will not help in any way.
