Why would you want to lock pages?
I would suggest getting a host that supports PHP, then trying out Invision Power Boards or phpBB.

A host with Cpanel will come with Forum for free.

Check with your current webhosting provider if your server is PHP and MYSQL databases capable. Then you can download the forum for free:
PHPbb (free): http://www.phpbb.com
Invision board (licensed): http://www.invisionboard.com
If you are thinking of simple and easy to use forum, phpbb is good for you.
Are you using Cpanel for your control panel?
Cpanel fantastico has all preinstalled scripts ready for you to self-download to your server.

More detail please. You have a website and you would like to have your own forum, is it?
Please kindly login to your cpanel account and check whether Invision Board, phpBB2, YaBBSE available? You can install them after you login to your cpanel acc.
