Hi, after the bad experience we had with HostRocket, we decided we should change webhost! Attm we are looking for a webhost with the following specs:
- 200MB/+
- 10GB bandwidth/min
- detailed control panel
- PHP4
- 20/+ pop3 mail addresses
- 5/+ subdomains
- costum error pages
- /cgi-bin/, CGI execution on any directory
- MySQL Database
- SMTP server
and if possible phpMYadmin!
Attm we are looking at aplushosting.com, the problem is that the pack they offer with mysql support is $37 and we are looking for a less expensive pack!
Also very important a RELIABLE, FAST, with GOOD support webhost!
Sugestions are very very welcome!
Thanks in advance
Jusit

i just read your question about looking for a host. I would highly recommend unitedwebhosting.com. They have 15 gig bandwidth there if you need it at no extra charge. I just transfered my site to them several months ago and am still in shock that i haven`t had any problems. Before i found this host i had tried 3 different hosting companies that were just plain terrible. At one of them i payed over $20 dollars per month but my site was still down a few times a week! But i`m very pleased with unitedwebhosting.com - very nice people and darn good prices.

Hi,
If you are routinely pushing 15 gigs a month, and expect some growth to your site and your visitor base, it may be time to start looking at a dedicated box. I don't know your exact bandwidth requirements, so I'm just speculating here.

A site that regularly uses 15 gigs per month just isn`t suited for shared hosting. Usually sites who host regularly use less than 5 gigs per month. It`s usually only adult sites who use very large 15+ gigs of bandwidth per month.

Why dont you try doing an advanced search here at webhostdir.
You might find some and then be able to narrow some choices down.

The only other hosting co. that I can think of at the moment is tera-byte.com
Good Luck..keep us posted.

@unitedwebhosting.com WARNING!!
The company acquired Cubibichosting.net without informing customers, then charged accounts without authorization. They did not answer support tickets or emails for 2 months on simple issues, and in this particular issue, when asked to change the main billing domain, restored the new site with a 3 months old backup, erasing 3 months of customer?s work, as well as the databases for 3 months on several forums and sites. Support refused to help resolve issue.
If a hosting provider cannot return simple support requests or inquiries, cannot take competent backups, and charges customers accounts without authorization, they should not be in the web hosting business.
I would never recommend this hosting company to anyone due to their incompetent technical support and practices and unauthorized billing.

Hello,
Any host can create a custom package for you for that configuration.
Only thing is you have not specified your budget.
