Any info is greatly appreciated.....

I know I shouldn't like this as it's a page curl on a commercial site.... but I like that page curl! :D

I don't even have Netscape 4.7 on my computer anymore, nasty piece of stuff that it is. A lot of Netscape's 'issues' come down to tabling. You might want to make sure all the tables are fully tagged with closing tags and the like. If there's one missing in the right place it'll just ignore the whole table.. Not good if you go and put a website in there, as it throws the baby out with the bathwater.

Hmm, what are you built it in? Notepad, Dreamweaver?

Page curl? As in literally? Jeez, I'm so new at this lingo! The source is viewable. And I checked the table tags. But, I certainly could have missed something.

Is it possible that it's too much java and Netscape is choosing to ignore the whole page? The fellow I got the applet with my logo on it suggested this.

Because I'm so new, I'm using Frontpage 2000. I've used htm extensions rather than html as when I first built the site 2 years ago, these were the default extensions.

I don't know, I'm grasping. I have subsites on this domain and I can view them. ie: http://www.outfrontwebs.com/rotary

Ever so lost and hating Netscape...

Netscape is very picky with HTML.....I can guarantee you your site can't be viewed in Netscape because of an HTML error......probably a missing closing tag of some sort.

Netscape is actually a great browser for checking HTML errors......once you pass the Netscape test, you know your site is fine!

Yep! That's what it looks like. Pretty awful. It does, however, improve with Netscape 6 ;) I'm still plugging away trying to create a java based menu. I am pretty sure that is where the site self-destructs!

Thanks for the input. If anyone can actually find a missing tag, (the 'weakest link' :D ) please, let me know!

Maybe you fixed the problem....??
IE is fine and
I checked it with Netscape 6.1
Looks fine from my end....
Nice site by the way!! Like that clean look.

Don't you have a code checker? I think I have a few on our site where you can validate your site and it shows you what's wrong.

I do have one on my computer if you want I will run it through tomorro it is now past midnight and I am closing for the night.

If you want me to run it for you reply to this and I wil see it in my mail box in the morning

Netscape usually does 'ok' with Java so they should be ok. I'm not a bad fan of java based menus, prefering javascript rollovers or CSS. I think that stems back to when people used to use a firetruck red menu and have the rollover as a nasty lime green (you remember those?) Yours at least are subtle enough not to take an eye out when you see them. :)

Oh, refering to the pagecurl... I mean at the bottom right of the main page there, where the page curls over like a book (page curl)

A few points I see though
- your email link at the top right. The border is showing (bright blue) border=0 will fix that

- have you compressed the top graphic in the header? I'm getting little blue dots through it now, and the text seems 'smudged'

- that crosshatch background (a wire fence?) in the boxes seems to dominate the page a little.. maybe something more subtle?

Of course, just my opinion... :) Looks nice though

Your tables are a mess, and you have the bottom part of your web page commented out.

If you use text and clean up the mess, everything should work fine.

Start by un-commenting out your bottom TABLE tags.

Ok, I'm getting this. Regarding Netscape.......yeah, OK. I know, be nice.

Well, I think I've fixed a few things. The logo should have improved and I'm now reading a 6" thick, 50 lb. book on html!

Any more suggestions/comments greatly accepted!
