has anyone used ePassporte Virtual Visa? I unfortunately loaded an ePassporte Virtual Visa with about $100 believing they were similar to Paypal...not so! ePassporte advertises that its Virtual Visa is accepted "anywhere that Visa is accepted". This is an outright lie! ePassporte's Virtual Visa is almost exclusively limited to gambling and porn sites. What is more, once you load your account you have no way to get your money out. They only withdraw to U.S. bank accounts and they charge a whopping $35 for their debit card, which after 6 weeks has yet to arrive. How is it that they can get away with this kind of scam?

I am not the only one scammed by this company. I did a google search and found a number of posts on gambling chat rooms where other ePassporte customers encountered the same problems.

This is supposed to be a fairly well-known online merchant. Why havn't I seen more warnings? Has anybody else run into this scam?

The virtual VISA card can be used at merchants accepting visa.
You'll find your virtual visa number if you log in to your account and click "Account" your CVV2 code is in your message center.
Can you please email me your account name with any questions you have, then I will check up on your Electron card and get back to you. It sometimes happens that the card is lost in the mail and if thats the case we will send a new card to you.

Thanks

I have same experience. Recently the site that accepted epassporte stopped doing so. I then tried to use the so called "virtual visa" but always get same response that the card was rejected even thought there was money deposited. I even entered the CVV no.

Oh my god do not be dumb as me and try and load money in this account. They are absulote peices of cr*p. They took my initial deposit and will not give it back. When I finally got two different people on the phone from customer service the out right hung up on me, furthermore they sounded like crack heads from the ghetto or something, no disrespect meant to the decent crack heads in the ghetto, but you catch my drift. The spend more time trying to convince people they are legit than actually being legit. Do not ever ever do any business with that horrible horrible company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :bad:

I have been using epassporte forever and with the exception of some online processors like 2checkout and paypal I rarely have issues with the virtual visa online sales. I also get gas and buy groceries with my real card all the time. Could you guys that are getting turned down all the time maybe list what stores are a problem?

ok i can definitely say if you have to call epass they suck.. lol but i've used epassporte for 4 yrs now and up until recent haven't had any major problems with them... now they are in trouble or something like that because now no one can access there epassport funds!!!! This definitely is a party pooper... depending on the outcome of this situation will determine my continued business with them.. if they some how fix this i will continue using them because it works like a charm for me.
