Yes, the question was regarding a suitable web host. Notice it was my first post... did I post in the wrong section?

Not the wrong section, just not entirely clear what you are looking for.
Have you tried to search the directory?

Good luck with your search.

Hi boogidy,
I just tried a search with your criteria and there were 390 matches.
Go to Advanced Search (http://www.webhostdir.com/hostsearch/search.asp?SearchType=Advanced) and enter in what you're looking for and you will get a list of matching results.

Yes, I have checked the directory. In fact, that's the first thing I checked.
The problem is that I am not so sure about reliability and scams going on...
I saw X-Treme hosting and it sounded like a great deal. I called and got an aswering machine and couldn't even comprehend the dialect of the person on the other end. I thought I call the wrong number so I called it again. This time someone picked up and some said, "Hello?"
"Yes I wanted to ask about.... 'er.. you know what, I've got the wrong number."
Sorry, but I'm doing business with anyone that answers their phone from their basement.
I want a reliable, stable company to host my website. I need:
50+ MB
PHP
Real, MP3, Windows streaming media capability
Custom 404s
and definatlely ***LiveStats***
under $20
If you know of a company, please tell me. Write now I have all of this with Onvia, but I've heard that they will not be hosting much longer. I want to avoid this again and have a reliable company host me this time.
Many thanks for your input.

BTW, just noticed now you say you want MP3 capability. Not a lot of hosts allow that.

Well, I need it.
The quality of Real Audio just sucks. I need to stream mp3s. I'll never have more than about 40MB worth of mp3s. I design high-impact websites, and I develop my own sounds as well for sound synchronization with flash. I use a Korg MS2000 Virtual Analog Synth, Alesis Drum Machine, and Digi001 midi-interface with Pro Tools to develop and process the sound. It is important that I put up samples on my website. However, I can just embed them into Flash for previewing purposes, but they lose the autoring and copyright information if I were to do so, after download.
Cold fusion is not necessary, but I'd love to have it. Their are just a few cf tags I use, but I guess I can accomplish the same thing with PHP, which is a less costly web hosting feature.
LiveStats, though, is a must!
Anybody reliable and want my business?

You know what. Forget about the audio streaming. I've decided I'll just do that in Flash.
I'm looking for a reliable webhost with:
50+ MB
PHP
Custom 404s
LiveStats
under $20

Yep, it's got great flow throughout - not usually seen in flash sites.

Thanks!
That site is over a year and a half old. My portfolio is non-existant online at this moment, but I've got a new site up my sleeve.
Over the past year I've been designing nothing but CD presentations, but I recently finished www.medcenterdirect.com/tour2001
It's a neat little animation that is synchronized to the snare in the sound track.

So, could you please visit the following thread:

and provide your company details in the following format:
