hi,

I don't know if am posting this on the right forum..but here goes..

When opening url from a link within a flash clip..how can i specify which frame in a page i want the url to open in...as opposed to it opening in a new browser window? ( I've got a 2 frame page, the flash clip is in one frame, but i want all links to open in the other frame)

any help appreciated,
thanks.

Hi,

Welcome to the forums, you are posting in the right one. I don't think there is anyone here who are experts on Flash 5 so try the Macromedia Official Forums at news://forums.macromedia.com/macromedia.flash

Best of luck

Umm, well I think I get what you are saying. What you need to do I think is build your links in the second frame as text and then change it to a hyperlink.... by doin this you can go and make it open in the same web browzer. I have done it on my own personnal website and would show you but my site it down at the moment b/c the server people are wanting to upgrade.. lol hahah what fun .... anyways besides that.. if you have any more question just send me a email or post something up here and I sould be back soon to check it.. but email problibly would be better.. lol anyways..
