I have a site called Collectors Haven and Gifts (http://www.geocities.com/nan741/beanie2.html) .
I have placed ads all over, signed up for both MyGeek and Respond.com these are suppose to give you leads. They didn't work.
I am unable to work out of my home so I thought this was a good idea.
Could ya'll check my site, tell me what is wrong (or right) with it?
Is it too much? Not enough? Should I have several pages?
I would appriciate any help I can get.
Thanks in advance.

PS please be kind I am really new at all this.

Just to breifly add to what has allready been said at:

I think you need to get a domina name and move the site off GeoCities for a more professional look.

Secondly you need to have a good think about the website and what the onjective is. If you are going to offer people links then you need to organise it a little better and offer something other then just the links.

And finally if you are after more traffic then you could start an affiliate program at ClickXchange.com. This will get you the number of visitors but lookout for the quality.

I think you have a good start on your site but as the guy above says you might want to get a domain name and host. I use.. http://www.inoverse.com at the moment so you know they are changing servers but if you get hosted with them its one of the most cheapest sites I have ever seen but wait a couple of weeks to let them get themselves together. Second of all I do webpages for people so if you would like me to help you out with your some I would not mind just send me an email sometime. Depending on how much you want done is if I charge are not. Now onto just some other slight changes. You might want to go and organize your stuff some more. If you like I could as I said help you with that. Umm, I dont like free money making programs tried them just doesnt work for me but if you want some more traffic try to submit yourself to some search engines and tell alot of people about your site. After a while you sould get quite a few more hits.
This is all I know and good luck.
