Hi,
I am using Composer for a simple website. Never had this problem before...

I want to create a Mailto:xxxxx link so people can send me email from my site. I know how to create the link, so that's not the issue.

I am using Qwest.net for my ISP - VDSL - For some reason when I click on the link to send ME email from my site... an error message comes up saying The Server is unable to send mail.

I am not using Netscape for my browser. I am using MIEOutlook Express. What is going on. When I was w/AOL (please don't flame me... it was free! lol) I didn't have this problem. I've contacted Qwest and they have no idea what I'm speaking of. No help w/Webdesign.

I rarely access the Boards, so please email me: prsnl4me@qwest.net with any advice or suggestions. TIA!

I sent you a quick email....sounds like your email client is not configured properly?

Martie - I spent over 3 hours on the phone w/various people from Qwest and a lot of stuff is now fixed. No one knew what happened, but I am now able to send email to me from my site, which means anyone else can to. In addition I taught myself targets! I use CuteFTP whenever things aren't going well or just for backup checking on things. The publishing site was changed from and http url to ftp. Why it worked before using http is beyond me. But it's fine for now. I think I read somewhere... if you can get a site up and running using Composer you have passed the test. It's very picky? I don't know, but thanks for your help! I'm in the process of teaching myself HTML now. Wish me luck!:D
