I am looking for a good log analyzer. I am pretty new to this so Ineed something simple. Just a perl script that will give me who is visiting my site, where they came from and what keywords they used. I would also like to know what robots are indexing my site. Any suggestions?:)

Well Webalizer might work for you, http://www.mrunix.net/webalizer/

I would also recommend Webalizer. But it doesn't beat having a good Webtrends style stats system (i find). If you're not bothered by a little button giving away that you use Webtrends Live, then use them. They give a very good overview of stats.

Is webtrends live an improvement on the boxed solution?

Try AXS. It creates it's own log but is iss to setup and use.

You may want to give awstats a try. It's not the fastest analyzer in the world, but it sure does look nice and gives out a lot of good information. I like it a lot -- in addition to all the others. Simple to set up too.
Free too. :)
