I need a good reseller that guarantees 99.9% uptime and good speed! I need to have at least this or more:

- unlimited domains
- 600 gb bandwidth/month
- 50 gb webspace
- php
- perl
- cgi
- email components installed
- mySQL
- unlimited FTP accounts
- $100/month or less

Like I said it can include more stuff of course like asp support, more bandwidth, more space, etc. I just need at least these features! Thanks:cool:

600 gigabytes or 600 megabytes of bandwidth per month? No way I would think anyone could give you 600 gig for $100 per month.

Here's the one:

fasthost.co.uk

50 uk pounds/monthly

unlimited bandwidth
unlimited space
unlimited domains

Sounds good to me and its even less than 100 bucks per year! It may not be the best but it sure is the good one!

I would read their terms of service before using them. If you're planning on using 600 GIG of bandwidth I seriously doubt they would allow that.

Quoting from their Terms of Service:

"UNLIMITED USE POLICY
High bandwidth usage: Fasthosts offers an unlimited use policy by maintaining very large ratios of bandwidth per customer. In rare cases, Fasthosts may find a customer to be using server resources to such an extent that he or she may jeopardize server performance and resources for other customers. In such instances, Fasthosts reserves the right to impose the High Resource User Policy for the consideration of all customers.

HIGH RESOURCE USER POLICY
Resources are defined as bandwidth and/or processor utilization.

FastHosts may implement the following policy to its sole discretion:

When a website is found to be monopolising the resources available FastHosts reserves the right to suspend that site immediately. This policy is only implemented in extreme circumstances and is intended to prevent the misuse of our servers. Customers may be offered an option whereby Fasthosts continues hosting the website for an additional fee"

600 gb is something they would let me use for sure!

No system resource is unlimited. There's always some limit. Maybe a very high limit but still a limit. Especially when it comes to bandwidth and storage space.

The limits are probably burried deep in the fine print. And if they aren't specified at all then I'd stay clear. You don't want them to come along and suddenly say you exceeded the limit.

i KNOW. they do of course have limit but they probably limit 1000 gb or something like that big so they think nobody wouldnt use all that so they say its unlimited!

Hi,

I think Matt described exactly how they shut down sites that use up alot of transfer. Believe me, they'll shut you down even if you reach 100MB......

Bandwidth and storage are the two most expensive basic services a host provides. It's very unlikely for a host to provide unlimited on either or some ridiculously high limit. It's just too expensive.

Consider this: I'm sure you've looked around and seen many hosting and reseller plans covering all ranges of bandwidth, storage and price. You gotta ask yourself "How come most hosts do specify a limit for bandwidth and storage?" IOW, if it was easy, simple and cost effective (i.e. a good business model) to offer unlimited wouldn't more/most/all hosts be doing it?
