lol ... $100/month = 1GB/month ... what a joke ... lol

great deal, eh? spam ain't any way to promote a business... go buy some adspace or a bidded search engine listing!

ohh... btw ... i don't think peer1 networks has a OC192... so you might want to update that lie on your page... lol

Not sure what you mean by Spam, someone had asked about low price dedicated servers so I replied.

Regarding your Peer1 comments, gridFX has several facilites and yes one of them happens to be co-located with Peer1 and they DO have OC192 in one of their facilities, I am making use of it.

BTW $100/mo for a dedicated server or Co-location of 3U or Tower is great price, not sure where you have been spending YOUR time but maybe it's time you get your head out of the sand.

k... for the record, what other colo facilities do you guys use? just curious... cuz not even UUNet has an OC192 in vancouver (i know for a fact, i've toured the facility personally in harbour center and spoken with the techs... this was b4 i got my 10Mbps from 'em a few years back... but i have kept up-to-date since i had cancelled just incase i wanted to start again), and vancouver is their western canada hub city (it used to be calgary but was changed when UUNet upgraded to multiple OC12s in vancouver) into the US... the largest pipe I know of here is a OC48 that is now owned by telus ... that goes from vancouver to seattle... was purchased from Starcom-Accesspoint (i was one of their original clients) for a mere $30 million (hehe, metronet used to pay the city $1/year + 4 fibers for the right-of-way of their fiber network throughout the entire city on a 20 year term), including the support staff needed to maintain the feed (well, it was purchased by metronet which was then purchased by att canada, but the oc48 went to telus).

well... there are a few other OC48s here ... like uunet's one to sacremento... but not that many...

o wait, it just hit me... u might be refering to a datacenter outside of vancouver, bc, canada... lol... (for the oc192, heh)... o... well... in that case... oc192 datacenters ... dime a dozen... lol

oh ... and $100/month for 1GB/month... tell me how thats a good deal...! and the reason I call it spam is cuz ... not only did you NOT post this in the original thread requesting for cheap colo in vancouver (the guy who requested it, i know him pretty good by now ... n we had figured out a solution for him (not involving any of my services)), but you posted a new thread... heh... and on top of that, this ain't the advertising forum... its the general dedicated server stuff... i m kinda surpised one of the moderators didn't delete this... but I guess they didn't because they want to get a giggle out of your response... heh...

heh... that pricing structure seems a bit better... but still a tad bit on the expensive side ... unless thats burstable b/w you're quoting there...

so... any word on that OC192 facility? which one was it?

as for me having time on my hands... yeah, the members of this forum that have been around for a while know that i have no life... hence try and pick at anybody that claims stuff that just ain't true (or atleast in my limited understanding of things)... i will admit there have been many times where i have been proven wrong, nobodys perfect...
