Hi there, this question is really to the mods and admins.
I have purchased some hosting from http://www.designextreme.net/hosting but I believe these people to be resellers of some other company.
Basically I want to miss out the middle men and go straight to the server owners.
All I have is the following details below:-
Account Information
Domain Name ultimateworld.info
FTP Server ftp.ultimateworld.info (ftp.koolhosting.com)
Mail Server mail.ultimateworld.info
Home Directory /sites/14479873
Bandwidth Cap 1000 Kbps
Server Parameters
Web Server Name vhost2.koolhosting.com
MySQL Server db1
Path to Perl /usr/bin/perl
Path to Sendmail /usr/sbin/sendmail
###########################
Now i have tried searching www.koolhosting.com and emailing the admins but they are not very helpful.
Does anyone know who owns this server and a contact email address.
I want to have a dedicated server at a low cost (don't we all) the service I get from the server itself is very good, but hopefully I can save myself the resell price by going to the admins direct.#
Any help would be appreicated.

lol
dude... koolhosting.com is the provider neutral domain for my company for use by resellers... as far as that site in specific goes... yeah, you were the guy that had the 30Mbps of usage throughout a week that didn't pay a dime, weren't you? o well... not like i care... it was only 30Mbps... lol (the caps weren't put into effect, heh)...
if you want to talk about anything, you can either ICQ me at: 74440896 or email at: president@thecoolhost.com . as far as designextreme goes, he hasn't paid me a dime for hosting his sites for the past 4+ months (including yours, heh)... so i don't really care... his sites are all actually down right now, i wonder why... heh... he's got to be one of the most annoying clients i've EVER had... didn't pay a dime and complained about stupid stuff all day... lol...
general question: is a client's scripting problem the host's problem? (assuming it had nothing to do with the server itself but only the scripts)... thats why i quit regular hosting so long ago... heh...

Yeah sorry about that. How accurate were those stats thou, I thought it was designextreme trying to pull a fast one, in 2 days I used 400Gb of band tranfer. I must admit thou I did get over a million visitors in those 2 days. But I only had a few cgi scripts, html anf a few piccies plus some flash images.
I did ask design extreme before I signed up that I required large transfer and they promised myself unlimited and then shortly after that I was restricted to 6Gb a month. Now not many sites with flash can mange to restrict to 6 Gb.
I pay him regulary on time so I do not know why the money is not forwareded onto to yourself, I had the hunch that it was you in charge by doing a who-is on koolhosting and found out the email add was thecoolhost, but your websites are all unavailable.
I will talk to you through ICQ but I am in the UK so I hope theres no time conflict, but I wouyld love the opprtunity to deal with you direct and I shall pay you ontime , everytime.
As for design extreme, as you said above I have been unable now for the last 8 days to access the ftp clients etc etc. I think they are having problems and I also think its run by kiddies.
Anyway will talk to you soon on ICQ, got to take the kids out today, so I am somewhat busy, but will get in touch
Thanx and sorry about the large usage last month. If I do get a deal with you on a one to one bases, may consider settling the bill for the error, but I do believe it was not all my entire fault, I was lead to believe I had unlimited transfer and he was warned that I would use a large tranfer a month, I don't think though he expected me to use around 1200 Gb thou. I would brag and say I am a good webmaster but I do mange to get in the region of between 50,000 - 500,000 hits a day on all my sites accumalated together.
Anyway I am rabbling on now, talk to you soon.

Whats with the general question used in the above reply, is this the type of questions you were receiving for designextreme. The knowledge and skill level of some of these people amaze me.
Why do people offer a service they cannot support, if you offer a reseller package like designextreme did or does you should expect some suppoirt questions but hopefully they should be able to answer them themselves not pass it onj directly upwards.
I do understand why you quit and the reasons behind it, but a service like this is extrememly valuable to the internet. The service I recieved and the speeds I got from your server had to be one of the best around for the price that I paid. I feel this is a money pot for you, if you could offer this service all the time, word spreads, the money would just roll in. The word of mouth is definately the best advertiser around.
I would definately like to deal with you direct not through a reseller. I will pay all monies upfront, I pay in advance, I accept and understand all TOS's etc etc.
If your service is still available my ICQ is 52767695 @ Stu2000, but I will try and contact you either later on today or tomm. with any questions etc.
