I'm working on a site for my in-laws:
shiversbbq.com
I made the header and sidebar using slices with photoshop but I want to continue the wood border into the right and bottom of the main content. What is the best way to do this?
Thanks!

Are they small images stretched or one large image. If they're one image I suggest selecting the horizontal selection tool in a certain area and stretching the image.
For the bottom border just use one of the images from the header and use it for the footer.

using CSS will be very easy accomplishing that task.
stretching it to you preference will do it. :)
use repeat property of CSS.

Use CSS and an easy graphic editor like Dreamweaver, I've never had much of a problem using images as a border

I really am fascinated about doing this but did not have the opportunity to learn about it somewhere else. I am thankful that I learned it here.

W3Cschools will give you enough tutorials to do it yourself. Try it out.
