will microsoft join the trend and turn to Software as a Service (SaaS)? with stuff such as google docs competing, what will happen?

Are you kidding? For years MS have been heavily into SaaS. They know all applications are heading towards a hosted solution.

Hi angil,

Microsoft are actually going to tackle Google docs head on this year by releasing their own version. They will be offering stripped down versions of software like MS Word and Excel.
