Software for business? pls help!

I hope I have posted in the right forum. I'm engaged in a small business and I'm planning to start marketing online. Is there a low cost technique I can utilize in developing my products in the internet? I've read something about live247support.com which is a customer service support software company that provides live chat support at a low cost. I don't think there were such tools to make your e-commerce sites successful automatically. You should work hard in promoting your sites and of course live support add-on would be a nice bonus for improving customer experiences. :)
