I've never known anyone to use them but they have been in business for a while.

Let us know how they turn out.

You can also find other providers by searching WebHostDir (http://www.webhostdir.com/hostsearch/) that don't require setup fees but give you the same level of support.

Just a suggestion :)

yeah will keep you posted if i do try them out.

BTW has anyone checked this one out

WebHostAz.com

They are offering good stuff unlimited space and all, and i know i should be cautious of any host who offers unlimited cuz that word doesn't exist

But the thing is on their FAQ it says

Q Do you do UNIX hosting?
A No.

Now what does that mean, cuz it showed up in my only UNIX based search ... cuz all my scripts are mostly unix based and i wil have tons of changes to make..

Maybe they entered the data they incorrectly, a typo. Or maybe they just don't offer that anymore. Try contacting them or have a good look through the website.

You might want to avoid these guys.

There's another thread about this company around here somewhere that'd make you think twice about it.

I don't have any personal hosting experience with them. It has something to do with their taking 4 days to reply to my pre-sale questions...and that's a guide to how long you'd probably have to wait for support should something go wrong...:shake:

Fairly new company. Was started ealier this year, by Boris Mordkovich. He used to won www.echodev.com, and sold the company to start a web hosting business.

I've spoken to him a couple of times last year, he seems like a straight up guy, but I've no personal experience of his services.

yeah quick responses, and actually responds so you can tell there is a human being on the other side (always a good thing)

might join hostvelocity today or tommorow.. hope it all goes well, as this week is the "moving week" as i am moving house, the site, and the car (phew)

Boy you are unlucky! Why dont you post a request in the advertising forum. We dont allow the hosts to advertise in the main threads, so you'll get a better response.

yeah sure am, was alright with my previous host hostme.com but they also tended to do silly things sometimes, yeah ok i think i will post it up .. if the hostvelocity guy replies.

Will see if i can get him going if i mention that my whole life story goes on webhostdir buddy, so you better sharpen up...;)
