View Full Version : moving away from uk2.net

I have a .com domain with uk2.net, I'd like to move this to another registrar, the uk2.net help page says I need to pay £19.

uk2.net domains are actually registered with joker.com, I can access my domain configuration from the joker.com webpage, I am the listed owner and have access to the e-mail for the owner.

The page will allow me to change dns, admin-c, tech-c and billing-c, which are currently all set to uk2.net, if I were to go in and change this to my own e-mail, is there anything uk2.net could actually do about it.

I assume they are "charging for services" to change this ?

Anyone had any experience in moving domains off uk2.net ?

TIA

I haven't had experience with uk2.net, but I think registerfly.com is pretty good.
Yes, they can be aggressive in charging

I haven't had any experience with this particular hosting company. My advice would be to read their policy. If you want to lock them out it should be as simple as changing the necessary contact info then changing the password.

This thread was about uk2.net, who asked about registerfly?
