Has anyone every set up Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 - InterDev as a development tool on a Virtual Web Service? When you set up an InterDev project it asks for a master server. This is where the the web pages that you will be serving are (i.e. the virutal web server). I put in my domain, thinking that this must be what it is looking for and it comes back with a:

Server Error (Error code = 80070005).

Any ideas? I am theoritically on an NT based server that has Front Page Sever Extensions installed which is what is used by InterDev. Is there anyway I can tell what machine and software really is on the Server I am on?

When you get vague error messages like this - try msdn.microsoft.com or support.microsoft.com. If a piece of software has been around a while like interdev6.0, chances are someone else has had the problem and reported it to Microsoft. After that, try the forums. that usually the best way to solve these types of issues.

Just to let people know that might be searching for an answer to my problem I had with Interdev. The problem was the the Front Page 98 Extensions were not properly configured on the Virtual Server I was using. I worked with the folks at Kikko and everything is working AOK.:)
