I currently do web development for a number of average sized clients. I am interested in reselling web hosting services to them plus adding web hosting to my list of services.

Although most of the clients are normal web host customers, two of them are statewide associations that require up to 125 FTP IDs for the same hosting account.

Here's how it works:
Each member has their own password protected home directory that is Read-Only by everyone. Their FTP login only gives them Write access to their home directory plus all lower subdirectories. There are approx. 125 members.

I need the following in a reseller account:
- Ability to set up the multiple FTP accounts with Home directories described above (alternatively, they are willing to consider a subdomain structure (ie: http://customer.com/member) so long as the customer's administrator has control of the /member accounts
- Linux servers
- Good Control Panels for my customers
- Prefer some type of Reseller panel to help me manage the resold accounts (ie: email billing, etc.)

If you know of a Reseller plan that allows me to set up these FTP accounts, please let me know. You can email me, post a private notice, or respond here.

Thanks

James

Hi Ptusa,

Welcome to the Web Host Directory Forums. I've moved your post to the advertising / offers forum as we don't allow hosts to advertise their services in the main forums. Although you we'rnt advertising yourself, those replying would have to break the rules.

You are likely to get much better results now.

Try this one:

http://www.immenet.com

They offer cobalt servers for the Linux hosting and it is only like $5 a month now per site....

Just regarding your ftp requirements, have you thought to look at hotscripts.com under their 'virtual community' listings? You might find something there that would make that a lot easier - maybe modifying one the 'geocities' type scripts on offer. If that works it would give you a wider range of hosts to choice from to make sure you were getting the best possible base of operation.
