Shopping cart software

Curious to know if a change in the shopping cart software will affect my ranking. I was managing an e-commerce site for some time. My position is good SEO for my main keywords. However, my shopping cart software is not really advanced. It is obsolete in my opinion. I want change and are managed by a hosting option trading. Can I do this without affecting my ranking? Let me know as soon as possible. I can not afford to waste more time and money. I am indebted to you. Thank you a ton.

Personally, I would like to recommend you to add new feature add-ons on your current admin area since changing scripts would definitely affect your current site structure and url structure and this would be undoubtedly leads to negative impacts on your current ranking.
