Here is my advice, at least on Alpha, etc...Don't

If you want to resell the service you have bought, get a Semi-managed VPS and just do not get involved with SSH. You will have all the features you need and can have the hosting companies support handle the rest.

Alpha-Master-sub--Reseller setups are like standing on railroad tracks. As long as the train is not coming you are OK, but if it does you in deep trouble.
The total lack of control on both the sellers and purchasers side of that equation is really scary to me.

As as suggestion dont be enlightened with only the space bandwidth and mainly "unlimited" stuff...nowadays that is the less important in this business....find a company with many years in business, reputable and with a knowledge in the area with a qualified support assistance. My 2 cents.
