Nice plans and prices, only problem I find is plesk is very limited and can be too difcult for newbies to understand for there web hosting acc's.
Just my thought's...
But looks package's :D
As for running the web hosting side(basic's), knowledge of setting up acc's and customer support.

As for the reseller account you're looking at, here are some things to think about.
The Good: If you are receiving great service with a regular account you should continue to get excellent service with a reseller account.
The Bad: This company is MAJORLY overselling their resources (bandwidth/webspace). This is not an uncommon practice nor is it neccessarily a bad thing. It just looks like these guys are going a little too far. The reality is that if all of their reseller actually used all of the resources alloted to them this company could not survive financially.
The call is yours but I don't see why you shouldn't try then out.

I see all their plans come with generous bandwidth allocations. Their plans seems Ok.
But they do not provide much information about the servers they use and other network infrastructure. For all we know, their servers could be powered by Celerons.

Anyone should read this thread before they give any money to that hosting company:

Apparently they have been involved in fraud.

Even if they are in the right, I think they will have a tough time getting their name cleared. Furthermore, after reading the thread and more so with ISTACIA's response language, this is one company I WOULD saty away from.
They simply don't have their support planned. If I were low on support staff etc, I would go with exclussive online support system (BTW the ticket help system at www.matrixreseller.com is just great), cutting back on voiz support which can be heavy on the costs.
In fact, from an operational point of view, it even provides for excellent tracking of complaints/issues and you cannot have superiors coming and claiming they were not aware.
Looks like I am side tracking here already so, the conclussion, I think ISTANCIA is overselling something which will be difficult to deliver.

Be very careful ... we ventured into hosting with what we thought were two very well known companies - lots of bandwidth ... only to find that it is really a learning curve.
The first tip on this ad is - "our OC3 server" - OC3 is a connection or datapipe [fiber] Optical Carrier 3 - a quick refresher course 1 DS3 connection is about 45 Megabit per Second bandwidth - and 3 DS3's would be equiv. to a OC1 -
So I get very, very worried when they are calling their connection a server ... make no mention of Operating System ... control panel version ... perl version ... etc, etc, etc.
Here are some questions to ask ... how much is additional bandwidth? additional storage? Tech Support? When is Tech support available and is there a charge?
Also:
If you are going to resell - make sure you actually try the reseller cpanel - set up an account - make sure you can assign an IP address (and how much it costs).
This is one I would run from ... there are much better out there.

Hmmm... already changed names
You may want to make sure a company has been in business atleast a year if you want to resell hosting.
Price is not as important as uptime and dependability because without those, price is irrelevant.
I would recommend contacting any host directly on some off hours to see how well they respond and make sure they have a money back guarantee of some sort.

There are many different types and variations to reseller programs.
The best one I have found is Hosting Scouts (http://vbl.hostingscouts.com)
You don't have to manage the hardwar/software/billing/support.
You just bring in the Sales and get 25% RESIDUAL COMMISSIONS.
Highest in the industry. They also have the best Web Site manager. Appies Manager. They use IBM E-Series Servers with Linux. They have a nice Data Center also.

Highest in what industry? :D
Saw a very similar post in the hosting offers section. Wrong place to try to advertise your service so you may want to edit the post. Not sure why you would refer to a service you are advertising as "they"?

I find Plesk easy to use, even though i have only used the demo.
