It's like any other list or directory. A little here, a little there, and it all adds up.

Well I don't know what the responses are like because I'm not a host but I bet the Host Reviews generate a fair few leads. You get advertised on the homepage for a week.

I think their search works on last updated. So if you update or add plans, you'll appear higher. Can anyone verify this??

Yes TJW you're correct. The more you keep your plans up to date, the higher you rank in our search engine. Also some little facts to help you get higher in our engine; update your plans often, make sure you have a plan because to be listed in the engine you must have a plan. The best way to get higher is to purchase Find You Fast or Directory Enhancements.

Directory enhancements allows you to add graphics to your listing while find you fast increases your ranking. If you are interested in this then contact lindsey.rodgers@inspiringtech.com

Plain old listings do work as well as Chris from The host Group emailed us with.

Lindsey,

I'm curious. Is there anyway that when people do a search, that we can rank either 2nd or 3rd? We seem to be getting a lot of traffic from people doing searches on your web site. I know there is one company, that anytime I do a search, they always pull up #1. Let me know.

Chris

Forum_Master - Are you saying that just by updating your plans the engine reranks you higher??

Thats right. A search engine full of out of date information is no good for the searcher so the search engine ranks you higher if you update your plans. The search engine is still based on the features searched but will just display your plan higher if you update often.
