I suppose that it will be a good idea to contact them directly and ask then what you will receive exactly.. Try to check some review web sites and find any comments about the quality of their service.

I suppose that you should have more options to choose from. Take a look at leveltenhosting (http://leveltenhosting.com/) services. You will be pleased by their high performance servers, affordable prices and knowledgeable support

Keep in mind that slow loading pages and downtime are a surefire way to lose your visitors. as a matter of fact you need to be 100% sure in the host you are going to choose.

It happened so that glowhost.com is one of the few companies on the Internet known as a true hosting company.
They are able to help you with everything you may need (scripts installation, etc.) for free..
You can give them a try.

I find greenolivetree.net really good for getting the named hosting services. The company provides quality at the affordable costs.

Long term experience with managed servers has taught me that the most important thing is quality of service, particularly quality of support. It's no use having super cheap hosting if no one is there to help you when it goes wrong.
I have had almost 100% uptime and they give you rvskins and fantastico and other many useful features.
I found the customer support to be outstanding, GlowHost is fast and they know what they are doing.

When you are about to purchase a dedicated server it is a good idea to ask the web hosting provider where is their data center, what kind of network do they maintain and how much time will they need to replace any part of the server - HDD for example - if it fails.

When you are about to purchase a dedicated server it is a good idea to ask the web hosting provider where is their data center, what kind of network do they maintain and how much time will they need to replace any part of the server - HDD for example - if it fails.
In addition to that, what kind of backup policy do they have ? Do they offer offsite backup service ? What kind of security do they offer to your data ? and most importantly, Are they available 24/7 via Live Chat, Phone and Email ?
Asking these things to a web hosting provider will help you to get the best out of all.

I can recommend an unmanaged and managed dedicated server provider from my personal experience. I got my dedicated servers hosted from an efficient cloud computing company. They have clients all over the world. Their hosting service is reliable, secure, and fast. You can get as much storage space you require. Their servers have enough power to ensure excellent performance even for the toughest of programs. You can get the configuration of your dedicated server customized according to your needs. Their dedicated server hosting service is economical and fully supported.

Web hosting companies such as Maximum ASP, Server Intellect and Via Networks provide dedicated server hosting on Windows servers to consumers who require a Windows server and more resources than shared hosting allots. Companies such as Go Daddy offer both dedicated and shared-server hosting Soy Candles (http://www.stormymountaincandle.com/).

I'm interested in a similar arrangement as the OP.I wonder which datacenters would be flexible with these kind of arrangements though (shipping the parts and requesting them be assembled).

Hosts like Burst.net have very good deals, however they are known to be lacking in personalized, reliable support. You may want to look for a higher quality provider.
