I wish to know the unique features people look for in a cloud hosting package especially in technical terms and not just the flexible BW and processor technologies.

Setup architecture itself makes Cloud a unique hosting product. This also makes it a flexible solution as users can upgrade/downgrade server resources at any point of time. Hosting provider just needs to add a new server to the existing cluster and the cluster has more resources which can be used for new VM creation.

Instead of having to move to a different dedicated server if you require more storage space or more RAM for a higher level of performance, hosting in a cloud environment is extremely flexible and convenient. With our virtual servers, you can reconfigure your server with more CPUs, RAM, and disk space within minutes. From a business standpoint, it's highly cost effective as you only pay for what you are using in the cloud.

A cloud will offer you with two prime features, 100% uptime and scalability. With scalability you can upgrade your resources like bandwidth, CPU, RAM and space individually whenever you need them. So if you are planning to select between options like shared, VPS or a semi-dedicated server a Cloud server will be much better compared to all these.

The main benefit of cloud hosting is the flexibility. If you suddenly require more resources they are available, without having to pay for them on a permanent basis.

The user ability to increase and decrease resources as necessary is one of the many attractive features of cloud. 100% uptime will also finally be a consistent and true statement when you see it in relation to the cloud. Where one server fails or is overloaded another will compensate.

Basically Cloud computing is the delivery of computing as a service rather than a product, whereby shared resources, software, and information are provided to computers and other devices as a utility over a network.

The features of Cloud Hosting are as below :
1. You can run it on any OS and Software that you like.
2. The design of the virtual servers is same as the real servers.
3. It is full controlled by API and Web Console applications.
4. You can specify exactly the use of CPU, RAM, Storage and Bandwidth you require separately.
5. The data is stored in the central so it is secured.

I always thought the main advantage was the scalability

We lose a great voice in Nat King Cole at Santa Monica, California. Malcolm X is shot dead at a rally of the Organisation of Afro-American Unity in Manhattan, New York,.

You should also look into how a cloud solution handles backups of your site and database backups. Even thought a cloud solution is built to handle redundancy and failovers, backups should always be kept
