Does anyone uses HawkinsHosting.com before?
They claim to be 99.9% uptime but i am not so sure about it.
Any member who uses this web hosting company before pls advice me about their service.

Do they replied customer support e-mail once every blue moon?
Are they serious in treating their customer well?

Their plans are quite cheap.. do anyone have problems joining them?

Lastly, any good & cheap hosting reseller plans offering CPanel or H-sphere control panel?
Preferably.. less than US$10/m and lower.
No other requirement needed.. but as long they are able to reach 97% uptime and above.

Please help, thanks a lot guys... and gals out there.

Have a nice day!

I've signed up and put a few small sites there (eg www.JackTarr.com ). It seems to work fine except at the moment I can ftp the sites, but I haven't been able to browse them for the last couple of hours. I doubt 99.9% uptime is right, but I'll give them the benefit of doubt for now.

At the moment, all my HawkinsHosting sites are down, I haven't been able to ftp, a scheduled backup didn't happen and I've not been able to reach the helpdesk. I think that a lot of my work may be lost in the same way as it was when Cyberwings disapeared.

I've had some emails saying they are changing the servers and that I should change my dns details, then I was told I shouldn't change the dns. No clues yet when everything will be sorted.

According to emails everything is new, improved and better than before. They are now trading as ihawkins.com

I'm happy with the deal as there's no way I could afford to have all my sites hosted at $5 per month, or whatever.

New signups are taking a few days to process at the moment.

:shake: Strange.
You might be in the market for a new webhost, sooner than you planned!

Regardless of anything else it might be a good idea to make sure you have current local backups just in case.

Good Idea akashik.

To many hosting companies these days have been failing.
