Search engine

Hello all,
I have a question: I was checking to see if a meta tag was working for my web site when I put my name into a search engine, to my surprise the search engine pulled up the forums that I post in?!? Can some one tell me how that works, that is when I post in a forum how it gets listed in a search engine? pretty cool I guess?

Forums get indexed just like websites. Our forums get indexed by Google. Try typing in your name in Google and see if it comes up with a post in this forum.

If you search for me on Google, you'll find a bunch....
