Can you tell me how to improve my site?

I just created a new website www.ourdreams.net my first, and I don't quite know what I am doing. The site needs something more and I thought maybe someone might have some ideas.

Yup, you've got a comma at the end of the url. Please don't take this the wrong way but I'm just wondering if it's for real?

Thank you for pointing out my mistake, I am new to all of this and I am just learning what I am doing.

My site is for real. We are just a normal family that wants a home like everyone else, we just can't do it. I have tried so many different ways and nothing seems to work. I know that some people are going to think that I am crazy or wrong for what I am doing but I did not know what else to do. We help others when ever we can, we are very nice caring people who are just looking for a break. We have both worked so hard our whole lives but just can't do it. I do not want people to think bad of me, I want people to understand were I am coming from.

From a marketing standpoint you need to personalize it more. You don't have too many visuals except for the graphics. Basically, if I came across this site I would think it was a scam. You are going to have to have pictures of your family, provide some sort of guarantee you are not a scam, have the money escrowed to a bank or a reputable organization, etc.

Thank you for your advice, I thought about that too but I have no way to get picutes in my computer, I don't have a digital camera or scanner, we are lucky we have a computer. My mother said that she was going to try to borrow a digital camera from a friend of hers for me so hopefully I will be able to do that soon. I don't know how safe it is though to put pictures of my children on the internet. I guess it would probably be okay.
