Syphic.com: What do you think?

I am a small town guy and sence March 18, 2001 have been running the website Syphic.com! It as almost been 2 years now and would like some honest options on my website and what people think. It's comming along slowly after 2 years but surely. I just finished the processs of making my website available for web design and hosting but sence I am still in school am not going to open this up U.S. wide until this summer. I am going to keep it local unless you just have a great desire for my talent which I don't think will be the case.
Also, I have a couple software packages comming soon to my site that should increase my traffic greatly. I have an average of about 40 unique hits a day and 1000 hits. Check out my site and tell me what you think.

I personally don't like it. Over use of gradients, and a very non-usable font.

You want to catch peoples attention but not at the expense of losing your sites usuability or professionalism.
