Hi Tom,
Not many Companys will do this but Contact www.kdawebservices.com .... They will ask you to send the check first im sure but if you live in the UK that will be 24 hours, They try to please and they may do it yet again they may not.
I've bought quiet a lot of domains through them and use them to host a few of my Websites they are a very good company.

Tom,
I think the issue will be the checks. As domains are usually registered in real time and paid the same way, there's a bit of a risk with registering a domain name, only to have a check bounce. As domain are non-refundable whoever registers it for you will be stuck with a domain they may not need or want.
That's not to say you'd do anything like that, but most people will err on the side of caution and not offer domain registration with anything less than credit. So while registrars may *want* to accept checks, it's probably not in their best interest to do so.
If I see anything around like that I'll be sure to mention it though

Tom, you mentioned in your intro that you are a bit on the young side, which I am guessing is why you don't have a credit card available to pay for your domain name.
You might want to check into other alternatives, such as using Paypal (not the greatest, but it does allow you to transfer money electronically from a checking account), debit cards, or the new prepaid credit cards that have been introduced recently for college students. That may be something that your parental units can arrange for you.
Otherwise, find an adult who you can trust, who will take a check from you and put the domain registration on their credit card, but put the contact names as yours (that's where the trust part comes in).
