http://www.kdawebservices.com/ - My Webhost they use chatroom software that comes standard with CPanel and i think theres a java version and a cgi version.
KDAWebServices is a well run company with excellent support.
Some other hosts that use these same features are -
http://www.site5.com
http://www.wizardshosting.com
http://www.hostrocket.com
All have good reputations.

At the risk of being a broken recording, be careful of the "unlimited" part. Nothing is unlimited. Maybe very high, but there is a limit.
Can you quantify about how many POP3's you need? IOW, why do you feel you need "unlimited" POP3's?

I'm not sure what you mean by this, davegil. Do you need exclusive use of all CPU resources for 15 hours per month?
The CPU(s) are a shared resource. All the sites on that particular server share the CPU's at all times.
Running a web server isn't something that is CPU intensive, especially if the OS is *nix. Windows-based servers are a whole nother ball of wax.
Same with RAM, everyone shares the same RAM with the OS and whatever else is running on the server.

Hi Dave,
Humm, well every host has different policies. About the board?
Is this a ubb, vb or what type board?
How many members?
Also, do you know what you are transferring per month in the way of bandwidth?

15 hours a month really isn't that bad. That's 30 minutes a day. There's 24 hours in a normal day (only about 4 in mine, it seems), so 30 minutes really isn't that bad on a good server.
Btw, you've got a private message.

You can send private messages within the forum from the user cp (control panel). Click on the [user cp] button at the top of the page of the Private Messages text link at the bottom of the homepage.

I need a webhost with these minimum requirements:
6000mb a month transfer
100mb webspace
unlimited POP3 email accounts
an allowance of 15hours CPU usage a month
cgi-bin
I need a webhost urgently

Check your PMs again.
I don't think anyone can _honestly_ offer you unlimited POP3s. There is a limit to everything. POP3s potentially take up disk space, and there aren't any unlimited drives yet. They also have the potential to take up a good deal of bandwidth (unlimited has th potential to be A LOT). Be weary of anyone to offers unlimited anything (aliases, autoresponders, forwards, and mailing lists can be unlimited because they don't consume any resources -- or VERY little. They are just pointers.).

As I asked before, why do you feel you need "unlimited" POP3's? Are you going to offer email as a service on your site?
On my e-tail site we only use 4 POP3's and could probably reduce it to at least 3. When combined with forwards and aliases you often don't need a POP3 for every person or subject involved with your site.

we currently offer everyone.net html based email addresses but we have become a community with everyone within the web community sharing the costs of the website. Therefore we want to be banner ad free and offering members a POP3 account would be more acceptable to the members

In that case, while I agee that "unlimited" POP3's would be nice, if the cost is being borne equally by everyone in the community, most hosts can add extra POP3's for a small one-time fee. Might even be able to do better if you order the POP3's in bulk.
