Just wondering which ones have you guys tried and would suggest.
I am looking for a company that has great record for being userfriendly and great support to people starting off in reselling.
OR
Should i build up my own dedicated server for that purpose instead, as it's running quite well.
What Control panel can i use to set up different domains as i believe webmin doesn't allow bandwidth allowance etc.. or does it ??

Going on your own is takes more time and inital cost. OTOH, you have much more control over things.

I would say start off with a cobalt raq server with the features that you need. It has a very user friendly interface for the admin and the end user. It also allows things like bandwidth control, FP extensions, ASP support, multiple domain names per IP, and more.. They are also coming down in price.. seen some out there for around $100 to $150/mo (Raq3i or 4!)

yeah raq i already got a dedicated server which is doing very well, only that i have my own domains on it.
Any chance of knowing of any good control panel.. to manage all accounts like assigning space, features, bandwidth.. etc..
Which doesn't require a whole backup of the server as it's gonna be too much trouble for my serer guys AGAIN
i am paying around 180 a month so have to cover that now somehow..

Check out http://www.ensim.com
Great control panel for just about any platform. I've heard some really awesome things about them. Prices are really good, at least for the Webppliance LS software.. don't know about the billing, etc software..
Hopefully this will help.

Won't work with Linux 7.1? Why's that? Have they (or you) checked with ensim to see if that have a new version or patch or something? Do you have to use 7.1? Just go to 6.2..
As for another control panel, you can check out http://www.webmin.com/webmin
Its not as pretty to look at, but it works reasonably well.
Since you have the Ensim panels, what do you think of them? Do you use them only on unix or do you have any of the other products? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks..

yeah raq.. i am not using ensim at the moment, cuz they go that if you install this we can't support you anymore , but i paid 90 dollars for something i won't be using now :(
they look quite fine but no haven't used them yet. And they haven't gotten a reply from ensim yet. and i don't feel like talking to ensim as my server guys have totally put me off hosting once and for all :(
