I am really thankful for pointing me to glowhost.com. I came across their web site and recognized that it offers a wide range of dedicated server plans to choose from and the price is really reasonable for them.
I have already got a dedicated server solution, telling their support my specific needs, their highly trained experts were really friendly and found the best fit for me.
Thanks for you helpful and useful inputs guys. I will tell you about the quality of their services in the near future.

Managed Dedicated hosting means the hosting provider manages the Dedicated server for you. The hosting provider takes care of all the Technical issues which occur with the server. He also updates the OS patches, security patches and takes care of all the security issues of your server. If you have any issues with your server, you just need to contact your hosting provider and his support staff will take care of the issue from there onwards. Whereas in Unmanaged one you are the one who takes care of the server. So if there is any issue, you won't get any help from the hosting provider. This might result in downtime and you might loose your clients and suffer heavy losses. People prefer to choose a Managed Dedicated server as compared to Unmanaged one, so that they can concentrate on their Business and let the hosting provider manage the server.

Managed hosting is always the best option. The admins of managed hosting providers constantly secure and administrate your server for high availability and optimal use. By this you get enough time to focus on your website promotion and other vital activities of business. It is always better to have an Managed Hosting for your website. For this you need appropriate Managed Hosting Providers.

If you have the skills and time to manage your own dedicated server, go for the unmanaged however, if you don't have both, go to managed.

What is better managed or unmanaged dedis
I agree with the majority of the people here. Go with a managed VPS. Dont get one that is unmanaged and then buy a management plan, two many points of failure. Though I have no experience with either JaguarPC or KnownHost I know that JPC has been in the industry for quite some time, so even though they have "better bang for the buck" they are not an overnight/kiddie host. Good luck with your VPS Do post back your decision and a review.

I think this is depend with your requirement and also dedicated server function. You can compare both of them and assess which one is the best.

Like most people have said, it depends heavily on your requirements, skills, knowledge and your budget. Managed hosting services are better if you want the reliability and expertise of professionals to ensure the security and dependability of your service.
