I would suggest you to use an online backup they are better than off line backup even an external hard drive is NOT safe enough. Why? Because these drives fail all the time. I was backing up religiously to a $100 external USB drive last year and about Fire? what about if it got stolen? so you better backup online, I personally use ZenOK Online Backup! it is cheaper and everything you choose to include will be there for you to download on any computer you access.

I checked out www.xplodebackup.com and i've been using them for a while now. I'm on their 512GB package for $7 a month.. Pretty sure this is one of the best deals online if im not mistaken. I think the other chaps who are quite good are crashplan, but i chose xplode backup cuz they were cheaper and offered more computers allowed to be backed up. Hope you come right!
