Hey kazaamd ,
Try pinging the ip address from you9r machine.
1) Goto start
2) Click Run
3) Type CMD
4) Type ping http://www.kazaamd.com
Check the ip address that is returned. If it is that of a machine on your network check the c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\hosts and lmhosts in the same directory. You are looking for the name of your domain name and an IP address.
If ping returns can not resolve ip address then that means, either your ISP name servers haven't propogated yet or your having problems with the DNS. Try looking on www.domainwhitepages.com and see what it says about your domain name.
If you have no luck then post the results of your ping.AlienCode - Web Host Wannabe

How much do you actually know about either webmastering, or using your own server?

Domains not resolving???
I have the SAME problem....one of my resellers has 4 domain names that are failing at Los Angeles.
Go to www.alertra.com and do a spotcheck.
I have been visiting different forums to see what I can do to solve this situation. Los Angeles if failing to resolve some domain names and many people are having this problem.
At first, I thought it was that Microsoft work doing it, but my reseller said he has had this problem for several weeks.
I do not know what else to do and server provider said everything works fine. I did DNS check and that is fine too.
Just that LA thing is not resolving! What can I do? I cannot see my reseller's sites but he can. His clients cannot see his sites but other people can....what's going on???
P.S. Kazaamd, yours fails in all points from what i can see. I do not know what's causing this or how to fix this.

your domain is not properly setup or is incomplete in set up process, see the red areas here:

it might give you a hint.

Thanks for the reply

I had used about every single DNS tool there was online and either they showed everything was okay and others showed there were problems. I contacted my server provvider and they saw no problems from their side.
All my domains were properly set up as well as the nameservers. The problem immediately ceased when the Miscrosoft Worm, what was it Blaster?, calmed down.
Not exactly sure what happened, but many other hosts were having the same problem.
Also, I heard that also a company, I think it was Packard Bell, had a problem with one of their servers that resolved domains and they were located in LA. That's what I heard.
Thanks though
