Be careful with YAHOO DOMAIN.. they are cheating!!!

Hi everybody,

Please be careful when you purchase a NEW DOMAIN from YAHOO. On their small business and Domain sale place they announced that there is 24 hours technical support but sorry to say that there is no any help from them.

Here is my problem, recently I bought a Domain Name from Yahoo, but I cannot access by Domain Control Panel. I can see my domain has been registered in http://www.allwhois.com, I send yahoo Domain Tech Guys so many emails, no any response (and all they have is bullshit online form, which I think they never look at) After long struggle, I managed to find their phone number (USA) and called them, but again same *******-- voice mail at other side.

I am in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, but there is no any local support in this region.

so BECAREFUL guys!!

I use Godaddy.com, they are fast and have a easy control panel. they run about 8.99 per domain

Yahoo domain is the last one I would recommend. Their support is really poor. One time, they promote their domain price at $4.99, but charge me $9.95.

Every experience I have ever had with yahoo domains was the absolute worst!!

We never had problems with Enom. Great technical support also.

yah chalk it up to a lesson learned, my worst experiences in the past were netsol (definetly the worst registrar out their in my opinion) and yahoo coming in at a close 2nd.

I've never been able to work out why people go for the absolute cheapest domain registrar. When you're only taking about a couple of bucks, do your research and go with a respected registrar.

Does anyone know if I sign up with the private registations on godaddy.com (where they display their contact info for whois/ICANN), will I still own the domain or does goddady own it in that case?
